Frequently asked questions:

  • How long is a therapy session?

A traditional therapy session is generally 50-60 minutes long. I also offer 90-minute sessions upon request.

  • How much do your sessions cost?

An hour session is $135. If this rate is not accessible to you, I have 25% of my caseload dedicated to sliding-scale pricing. If those spots are full, you can be placed on a waitlist or we can discuss other frequency, payment, or treatment options.

  • I am not an artist, can I still do creative therapy?

Yes! Therapeutic art doesn’t require any skill or past art experience. The process of making the art is typically more effective therapeutically than the end result.

  • What is the parking like near your office?

There is a large parking lot on the east side of the building. There is some west side parking in the back as well, though that is not lit in the evening.

  • What if we aren’t a good fit?

Every therapist is not a good fit for every client. That said, I embrace transparency and would love to discuss ways for me to support you as you move to a new clinician.

  • Do you take insurance?

Yes, I can accept a variety of insurances including Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna.

  • Do you offer telehealth?

Yes, I can see anyone within the state of Colorado via a HIPAA-compliant software.
